Meridian Water, Enfield - Strategic Infrastructure

Meridian Water is one of the most important and exciting urban regeneration projects in London, seeking to deliver 10,000 new homes, a new railway station, retail and community facilities and an adaptable mix of employment space.

Lewis Hubbard Engineering worked closely with the London Borough of Enfield from 2016 to advise on the infrastructure needed to support the development.

With such a highly constrained site; particularly by flood risk, utility provision, ground contamination and transport access, close collaboration of engineering, architectural, planning and construction teams was essential to deliver an attractive and viable development. Our work focussed on the establishment the infrastructure needed to unlock the site, advising how this can be well designed and effectively delivered.
