The Ledbury Estate is a major council-led housing renewal project adjacent to the busy Old Kent Road, with new council homes, an upgraded community hall, set within a walkable and cycle-friendly bio-diverse landscape designed with amenity for all ages.

LHE helped analyse various combinations of development areas, advised on fixed infrastructure constraints and helped shape proposals where infrastructure creates places for people and a rich ecology, such as new planting within sustainable urban drainage elements, pedestrian routes, connections between streets, community space and new structures.
